And, that's when I will be going. Moving, actually, to the other side of the state. That's where part of my family is, so I wouldn't be left all on my lonesome to get into trouble anymore. Not to mention, I'd be a lot more able to get in and out of the house by myself, so I'd be more sociable. Right now, I'm in an upstairs apartment...and while I can (barely) manage the stairs, I wouldn't be able to manage anything else. I have a walker, but I can't carry it up and down. Be a lot easier where I'm planning on moving...just open the door, and me and my faithful walker can hobble on down the road (it's actually called 'having an escape' you know...but shhh! don't tell anyone!).
The area I'll be moving to USED to be very rural...but, progress marches on, whether it's needed or not, and they've built the area up humoungously. Hopefully, there'll be a place close enough down the road that I can take myself to go have coffee. <veg>
I've been packing...and packing...and packing...and packing...ad nauseum for the last month or so. Thanks to my bratchild using me as a storage shed when she ran away to the gods forsaken wilds of Australia, I have more junk that any one person could possibly ever need. I need to get rid of a lot of it...but, we aren't allowed to have 'yard sales' (not allowed to sell ANYTHING on the property) so I have to take it all with me and do a yard sale down there in Sumner when I get there. This is going to be SO much FUN!!! NOT!!!! After all...I'm the one who posted the blog about all the THINGS cluttering up my house! I'd post a picture...but I think someone packed the camera...or buried it!
